Cancellation Policy

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • The tour start at 5:30am but the pickup times will be between 4am and 5:30am
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

What To Expect

Itineraries

DAY 1

Arrival in Shanghai

Accommodation: Artyzen Habitat Taopu Shanghai 5* or equivalent

 

Upon arrival at Shanghai Airport, you’ll be met by your local guide and transferred to the city. Then, you’ll check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

For early arrivals, we recommend a visit to Huanghe Road, formerly one of Shanghai’s most famous food streets. It still retains classic restaurants like Taishengyuan, offering a variety of local and regional delicacies — perfect for food lovers wanting an authentic taste of Shanghai.

 

DAY 2

Shanghai – Suzhou : Humble Administrator’s Garden, Lion Grove Garden, Shantang Street

Accommodation: Hilton Garden Inn Suzhou Wu Zhong or similar

 

After breakfast, depart for Suzhou. Upon arrival, visit the Humble Administrator’s Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of China’s four great gardens, known for its seasonal beauty, with blooming flowers in spring, lotus in summer, osmanthus in autumn, and plum blossoms in winter. Next, explore the Lion Grove Garden, renowned for its intricate rock formations. In the evening, take a stroll along Shantang Street, where ancient buildings glow under the soft lights, offering a nostalgic, picturesque scene.

 

 

If visiting in autumn, we will replace Lion Grove Garden with a visit to Tianping Mountain Scenic Area to enjoy the stunning red maple leaves (weather permitting).

 

DAY 3

Suzhou – Hangzhou : West Lake Boat Tour, Feilai Peak, Lingyin Temple, Songcheng Performance

Accommodation: Zhongshan Xizi Lake Hotel, Hangzhou or similar

 

Following breakfast, travel to Hangzhou. Once you arrive, visit the West Lake Scenic Area (5A), including a boat tour. Renowned for its stunning beauty, West Lake is considered the leisure capital of China. You may take a leisurely walk along Su Causeway in Spring Dawn, one of the lake’s top ten scenic spots, featuring six elegant stone bridges. Continue to Feilai Peak, a towering hill at 168 meters, located in front of Lingyin Temple, known for its fascinating limestone caves and rich cultural significance. As night falls, you can enjoy the “Songcheng Ancient Romance” performance at Songcheng Scenic Area (5A), one of the world’s top three shows, followed by exploration of the cultural theme park.

DAY 4

Hefang Street – Wuzhen : Hanfu Photoshoot

Accommodation: Wuzhen Tong’an Inn / Zhen Shui Resort / Zhaoming Book House / Shui Alley Inn / Shui City Inn or equivalent.

 

Start your day with a visit to Hefang Street, once the vibrant cultural and commercial heart of the Southern Song Dynasty. Then, we will head to Wuzhen Xizha, the last remaining water town in China, renowned for its timeless architecture and tranquil waterways. You can enjoy a leisurely boat ride through the scenic area, capturing unforgettable moments dressed in traditional Hanfu. As night falls, the lights of Xizha illuminate the town, creating a magical atmosphere. You may take a peaceful stroll along the river, enjoy another boat ride, or immerse yourself in a traditional Chinese opera performance at the water theater.

DAY 5

Wuzhen – Shanghai : Nanjing Road, The Bund, Oriental Pearl Tower

Accommodation: Hampton by Hilton Shanghai Taopu or similar

 

Enjoy a relaxing start to the day with plenty of free time to explore Wuzhen at your own pace. Popular attractions include Ling Shui Ju, Zhaoming Academy, Wuzhen Grand Theatre, Water Market, and Yuchu Bridge, each showcasing the charm of the ancient town. Afterward, travel to Shanghai and explore Nanjing Road, famously known as “China’s First Commercial Street,” a vibrant and historic shopping hub. Stroll along the Bund, where you can admire sweeping views of the historic international architecture on one side and the modern Lujiazui financial district across the Huangpu River. As the evening sets in, ascend to the second observation sphere of the Oriental Pearl Tower and indulge in a sumptuous revolving buffet dinner. Enjoy the stunning panoramic vistas of Shanghai’s skyline, while savoring a delightful meal in the rotating restaurant.

DAY 6

Shanghai : Chenghuang Temple Mall

Transfer to the airport for your flight home, concluding your unforgettable Jiangnan journey !

 

For those with an afternoon flight, you may wish to take the opportunity to explore the Chenghuang Temple Mall, a distinguished example of old Shanghai. The mall showcases classical Chinese architecture and a traditional front-and-backshop layout, offering a unique and nostalgic glimpse into the city’s rich history.
