  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
  • Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, comfortable clothes and hiking or tennis shoes.
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • The tour start at 5:30am but the pickup times will be between 4am and 5:30am
  • May be operated, under request by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and Portuguese)
  • A moderate amount of walking is involved at both attractions.
  • Waiver will need to be signed attesting to good health conditions

 

 

Cancellation Policy

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • The tour start at 5:30am but the pickup times will be between 4am and 5:30am
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

DAY 1

Departure – Kunming Changshui Airport – Hotel Check-In (Free & Easy Day)

 

Accommodation: Kunming Fairfield by Marriott or equivalent

DAY 2

Kunming – Stone Forest – Dianchi Lake – High-Speed Train to Dali

 

Explore Stone Forest, the AAAAA-rated scenic area. Next, visit Dianchi Lake, the sixth-largest freshwater lake in China. You can enjoy Dianchi Lake by strolling along the shore, cycling, taking a boat ride, or climbing Longmen for a panoramic view. In the evening, take the high-speed train to Dali.— Accommodation: Argyle Resort (Seaview) or equivalent

DAY 3

Dali – Erhai Lake Boat Ride – Santorini – Wenbi Village – Shuanglang Ancient Town – Dali

 

After breakfast, enjoy a close encounter with Erhai Lake, taking in the natural beauty of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. Witness the Golden Shuttle Mist over the lake, allowing yourself to be enchanted by the picturesque scenery. Santorini is a popular spot for social media enthusiasts. Located on the hillside by Erhai Lake, Santorini boasts beautiful, picturesque views. — Accommodation: Argyle Resort (Seaview) or equivalent

DAY 4

Dali Ancient City – Xizhou Ancient Town – Lijiang Impression

 

Explore Dali Ancient City. Visit the foreigner’s street for music and drinks, and the north gate for great photo spots. Visit Xizhou Ancient Town, known for its well-preserved Bai ethnic architecture and beautiful rural scenery, including rapeseed fields, rice paddies, and strawberry fields. After the Dali tour, drive to Lijiang. In the evening, freely explore Lijiang Ancient City. Then, head to Lijiang to watch the Lijiang Eternal Love show. This is a must-see performance in a lifetime. It’s an incredibly stunning visual feast that will leave you deeply impressed. — Accommodation: Lijiang Fairfield by Marriott or equivalent

DAY 5

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – Shuhe Ancient Town – Lijiang

 

After breakfast, head to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the sacred mountain of the Naxi people. Take the Glacier Cable Car. Visit Blue Moon Valley, where the melting snow forms a serene blue river. The valley is shaped like a crescent moon and offers picturesque views of yaks drinking from the river. Afterward, explore Shuhe Ancient Town. Savor local delicacies, relax in a cozy bar or bookstore, and shop for unique souvenirs in boutique stores. — Accommodation: Lijiang Fairfield by Marriott or equivalent

DAY 6

Shangri-La – Tiger Leaping Gorge – Pudacuo National Park – Shangri-La – Dukezong Ancient Town

 

Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, known as one of the deepest and most famous gorges in the world. The Jinsha River flows here, suddenly blocked by the Jade Dragon and Haba Snow Mountains, transforming the tranquil waters into a raging torrent. Explore the tranquil Pudacuo National Park, with its serene beauty year-round. At Shudu Lake, see rhododendrons and fish swimming in crystal-clear waters amidst towering trees, creating a natural barrier that stands like a picturesque screen.After dinner, you can explore Dukezong Ancient Town on your own. Take a leisurely walk or visit the Prayer Wheel to offer prayers for your family and find inner peace in this spiritual setting. — Accommodation: Hilton Garden Inn, The 5th Meteorite.Light-year Hotel or equivalent

DAY 7

Songzanlin Monastery – Napa Lake Grassland – Shangri-La to Kunming by Train – Kunming

 

After breakfast, visit Ganden Songzanlin Monastery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan. Next, explore Napa Lake, a wetland nature reserve protecting seasonal highland lakes and marsh meadows. As the largest grassland in Zhongdian County and a scenic area rich in highland features, it attracts numerous bird species like black-necked cranes, yellow ducks, and bar-headed geese during autumn. In the afternoon, take the train back to Kunming and transfer to your hotel for the night. — Accommodation: Kunming Fairfield by Marriott or equivalent

DAY 8

Kunming – Home

 

After breakfast at the hotel, we will arrange your transfer to the airport based on your departure time. We wish you a safe journey and look forward to welcoming you back to Yunnan!
